Out of practice

Wow. Once again it's been over a month since our last doodle. I don't think any of us were thrilled with the way it turned out. We neglected to set any rules before we started, and we never did reach any kind of theme.

We'll see how our next one turns out in a week or two . . .

Freakshow

It's been a while since we did one of these . . . and here is last evening's effort! My son wanted to call it, "Find the Hidden Picture," but my wife named it "Freakshow."

It's got our usual mix of animal, mineral and vegetable . . . it's what happens when the three of us take turns adding to a drawing.

No straight lines

This was the new rule added for today's doodling. No words, nothing gross and no straight lines. Face the Alien Pirate Bunnies was the result. We never know where our drawings are going to end up, but that's the fun of the process.

This doodle was started by MZ with a circle . . . which ended up being the head of the alien pirate bunny in the center.

Not quite what we intended . . . Absinthe Dreams

Well, MZ tried to color the last drawing we did with Paint and then with Photo Editor, got annoyed and gave up. M never tried. I switched back and forth between both Paint and Photo Editor, and ended up with this. I wasn't done, but haven't gone back. Maybe I'll finish it later. I think of it (and our original black and white) as "Absinthe Dreams."

Happy New Year!

We did this drawing last night. Our rules this time were "No words, and nothing gross."

We further decided that we'd publish it and each of us would also color it and we'd publish the three colored versions as well. We have yet to do that. We didn't agree on a title, so there isn't one at this time.
